About

Twenty years ago, I picked up a camera as a new mom and fell in love with the process of freezing time. For years, that time machine was a point-and-shoot camera, but as my kids grew, I felt the itch to have more creative control over what those images and memories looked like. My first big-girl camera was a Sony Alpha, and I wore it out within a few years. As my kids gravitated towards sports, I became a volunteer photographer for their sports teams.

In 2023, I moved into freelance photography for the Beehive Sport & Social Club adult recreation league in Salt Lake City, first as a pool shooter and then as the official league photographer. Since then, I’ve joined the photography pool at the Maverik Center for concert and sporting event coverage and am part of the Game Day media team for the Ute Conference Youth Football League events along the Wasatch Front. To increase my photography skills, I returned to Weber State University in 2023 to pursue a multi-disciplinary degree in photography and social media. I’ve traveled with Weber State to Cuba and Spain on photography assignments as part of my degree program.

Off the field, I have a passion for public safety and love capturing the efforts of our first responders and military community in action.
